I'm lucky to have a best friend who also loves to travel. We see each other more overseas than we do stateside. We found this gem, the Alamo Guest House in Glasgow, Scotland, while traveling to celebrate a milestone birthday. Located nearly across the road from the Kelvingrove Museum, this guest house has been restored lovingly by Emma and Steve, the owners. Staying at the Alamo is like staying with great friends for the weekend. And the room! So comfortable and inviting, I almost spent one day in my room without leaving to explore Glasgow.
